The Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera is a combined visible- and infrared-light camera that can be used to detect anomalous temperatures quickly. It includes a thermal detector with a 384 x 288 IR resolution and a 5MP (1080p resolution) optical light detector.

Images are displayed on the Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera’s 3.5” LCD touchscreen display with a 640 x 480px resolution. When used solely as a thermal camera, the Hikmicro IR Imager will detect and display real-time temperatures. The user can choose to view visible-light, thermal or combined thermal and visible-light images. To improve clarity the Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera utilises a Digital Detail Enhancement technique which fuses thermal and visible-light images to provide a more detailed picture, enabling users to identify the sources of anomalous temperatures easily.

Furthermore, the Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera features an alarm function and multiple thermal colour palettes, allowing the user to tailor the IR imager to his/her requirements and increase the efficiency with which out-of-range temperatures can be detected. It is possible to set the palette mode according to the alarm function.

Additionally, the Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera supports picture-in-picture view of optical and thermal images, as well as 1x, 2x and 4x digital zoom. It includes a number of practical features such as a long-distance laser which allows the user to identify and accurately focus on the intended target. The Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera is also equipped with an LED light enabling it to be used as a torch in dark environments.

Moreover, Wi-Fi connectivity facilitates real-time viewing of footage as well as remote recording and capture. Footage and images, as well as imported data, can be saved to the Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera’s built-in 64G storage module.

The Hikmicro M30 Handheld Thermal Camera also includes an integrated rechargeable Li-ion battery capable of providing up to four hours of continuous use.
