Docs-Store Domestic Dwelling Landlords Fire Safety Logbook From 1 October 2022 social landlords (including Private registered providers of social housing (PRPSH) and local authorities) are required to check that the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in the property are working properly at the start of a new tenancy. If a tenant contacts the landlord that an alarm has stopped working, the landlords must ensure that the alarm is repaired or replaced as soon as reasonably practicable after a report that an alarm is faulty. |
